Paul Starzetz and Wojciech Purczynski report finding a flaw in the mremap(2) system call due to a missing function return value check. While they found the flaw on the 2.4 series of Linux kernels, the 2.2 series of Linux kernels is also vulnerable to the same problem.

Radvision has added 3G and WiFi features to its line of toolkits for broadband mobile wireless application development that support Linux, among other OSes. Radvision's "Ensemble" toolkits now support "all the main application protocols needed for the delivery of one-way, bidirectional, and multipoint data and multimedia content over a broadband mobile network," the company claims.

I've always been fascinated by the messages in people's email signatures. When I see a great quote somewhere, I save it and use it in my own signature. Sometimes I just make up my own quotes. But either way, no matter how great a quote may be, after awhile I get bored with it. That's why I finally decided to automate the process.
