VIA has released under the GPL a software development kit (SDK) and sample Red Hat Linux 9 application exploiting the Padlock Advanced Cryptography Engine (Padlock ACE) embedded in newer VIA processors. The second major milestone release of Nvu, the Web publishing application based on Mozilla Composer, is now available for Linux and Windows.
