Let's see, tadaaa! What if your computer operating system came from the year 3000 and you had access to the entire web!
You login to your mail and select the folder "everything" where you see the 2000 newest messages sent through cyberspace. Some encrypted, some not. Most are written in Chinese, fine.
Let's become a bit more specific. Say you want to send a message to everyone in the world. You would not choose the everything folder, as it contains all emails and sms including those which were sent from one neighbor to another.
So instead you open the folder "notice to everyone". That's like if everyone had an email and you were the email itself. So you send that notice and everyone will get it. Of course not in their inbox but in their "notice for everyone" box.
What else can your operating system do for you? What about your private web page? When others enter your IP into their browser, they see your webpage, hosted by yourself. ...
