Access Control Lists (ACLs) allow you to provide different levels of access to files and folders for different users.

Access Control Lists (ACLs) allow you to provide different levels of access to files and folders for different users. The Red Hat Enterprise 5 / CentOS 5 have implemented ACLs in the file system by default. ACLs allow you to set permissions on one file that allow different access for each user. This tutorial shows how to use ACLs and how to backup files to save ACLs. A lab is included for practice.
