I know that a lot of books on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, etc... are written with the beginner in mind. Someone who may want to use these tools in putting up a simple website to display personal content such as family pictures and the like. If that's your situation, avoid this book at all costs. Koch makes it clear that he wrote this book for "a standards-aware CSS wizard". If that's not you, move on to another JavaScript text. Full Story |
