LinuxInterviews.com has a second interview since the site launched few days ago, this time with the lead developer of BMPx - Milosz Derezynski. BMPx launched a new version of the auio player just a few days ago, dropping the Winamp-like look and choosing a new iTunes-like skinnable interface. A lengty and detailed interview.

BMPx is a media player rewritten from the ground up on the foundation of BeepMediaPlayer. Originally started as a "behind doors" project, BMPx aims high and will get there very soon. Version 0.30.x was launched just days ago in a totally new form that drops the old Winamp-style look, bringing a more iTunes-like interface that will soon support SVG themes. The player is very promissing indeed, especially considering the fact that it has support for Last.FM, grabs the cover images from the Internet, supports ratings and generally has a nice feel to it. Included in version 0.30.x is the support for Icecast and Shoutcast servers and a whole bunch of GStreamer goodies. Let's see what the lead developer of BMPx (Milosz Derezynski) has to say about his creation in this detailed question-and-answer session on linuxinterviews.com. Prepare yourself for a long read.
