We still have to deliver the promised test of the latest Beta3 of the Debian Installer for Etch. And today, I sat down and did it, and I made some screenshots while installing. So this is also a perfect Howto for people who until now never installed Debian.

This was part one of our Howto and Test of the new Beta3 Installer. Tomorrow I will go on with part two, which will cover pretty much the same, but using the graphical installer, which is now included for x86 and x86_64 systems.
