The subject of browsers also came up as part of a much broader discussion by Dave Winer this morning. In response to a question, Winer said that he was reluctant long ago to switch away from Internet Explorer, because Firefox was unfamiliar to him, but he finally did because of IE's problems with malware as development on the Microsoft browser lapsed. Now, he said, he can't imagine switching back.
