Microsoft under new legal attacks

Microsoft Corp. was accused Wednesday by a group representing IBM Corp., Oracle Corp. and Sun Microsystems Inc. of abusing its dominance in products such as Word and Excel.
"We have evidence that Microsoft has refused to disclose formatting and other information," Thomas Vinje, a lawyer representing the group, said. "Word processing, spreadsheets and presentation programs can't achieve full interoperability with Microsoft Office."
