Cisco Systems has signed a multi-year deal to use Palamida's IP AMPlifier product for automatically detecting, managing and reporting on software intellectual property (IP) assets.
"We are pleased to have Palamida as a new component in our development environment," said Sherman Chu, Director, Licensing and Technology, Cisco Systems. "Cisco has long recognized the importance of intellectual property, and our move to automated tools for software IP management underscores that."
