The Fedora Project has announced the preliminary development schedule for Fedora Core 4. They have also in a related announcement announced the preliminary upcoming end of support for Fedora Core 2 for March 21.

The Fedora Core 4 preliminary release schedule is out, and available on the Fedora Core web site.

  • Test 1 - Feb 21.
  • Test 2 - March 21.
  • Test 3 - April 18.
  • Final Release - May 16.
Assuming the normal amounts of slippage that have been going on, we'd guess that Core 4 will ship about June 1 - just in time for you to fritter away your summer vacation playing with software.
