We've been tipped by one of our regular readers that the final release of the Linux Mint 18 "Sarah" Xfce Edition operating system is now available for download from the official channels.

Prominent features of the Linux Mint 18 "Sarah" Xfce Edition operating system include support for the new X-Apps that have been introduced in the Cinnamon and MATE flavors, namely Xed, Xviewer, Xreader, Xplayer, and Pix, and the implementation of the new, beautiful Mint-Y theme, which is based on the Arc GTK theme and Moka icons.

Linux Mint 18 Xfce Edition also comes with out-of-the-box support for the exFAT and Btrfs filesystems, HiDPI and GTK3 improvements, the brand new Update Manager tool that's also present in the Cinnamon and MATE editions, the MDM 2.0 login manager, multiple artwork improvements, and support for OEM installations.
