Ubuntu Touch OTA-10 Update Is Coming on April 7 for Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 Devices

As reported earlier, Canonical started seeding the major Ubuntu Touch OTA-10 software update to Ubuntu Phone users, as a phased upgrade during the next 24 hours.

Many of you reported that the update has arrived for your Ubuntu Phones, including the BQ Aquaris E4.5, BQ Aquaris E5 HD, and Meizu MX4 smartphones, but it looks like users of the Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 devices didn't receive the Ubuntu Touch OTA-10 software update.
A few moments ago, we have just been informed by ?ukasz Zemczak of Canonical that the OTA-10 has been delayed for those devices due to a last-minute bug discovered in the mobile operating system. Therefore, OTA-10 will be released for Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 users tomorrow, April 7, 2016. Full Story |
