The development team behind the Debian-based siduction Linux operating system have announced the release of the siduction 2015.1 development milestone, dedicated to the memory of Ian Murdock.

Based on Debian Unstable, the upcoming major release of the siduction operating system promises a change in the release model, in the way that the development team will publish siduction flavors with specific desktop environments when they're ready.

siduction has multiple editions, with the GNOME, KDE, Xfce, Cinnamon, MATE, LXDE, and LXQt desktop environments. In the past, the devs released all of them at once, waiting for each maintainer to prepare his/her flavor.
