Solus 1.0 Linux Receives the First Software Updates and Improvements for 2016

2015 was quite an eventful year for the Solus Project, as the development team managed to bring us one the most modern and up-to-date Linux kernel-based operating system and desktop environment.

According to the Solus developers, it would appear that Solus 1.0 was installed by numerous users, as it started to rain with bug reports and package requests. Therefore, today we're happy to inform all Solus users that the operating system received crypto optimizations in the Linux kernel 4.3 packages, along with Wacom support improvements.

Wacom support can now be configured directly from GNOME Control Center. Moreover, the printer detection should now work as expected, but it would appear the there's still an issue with the printer filter, as well as a communication problem between the printer and the printer server (CUPS), both of which will be resolved in the coming days.
