Ubuntu Linux Is Now Supported Across all Rackspace Platforms

Canonical, through Udi Nachmany, had the great pleasure of announcing that Rackspace, the world's most used managed cloud company, joined the Ubuntu Certified Public Cloud (CPC) program.

Of course, there are numerous benefits from the collaboration of Rackspace with Ubuntu, among which we can mention support for Ubuntu Linux across all Rackspace platforms, allowing customers to connect both private and public clouds, as well as dedicated hardware, and a true end-to-end "best of Ubuntu" strategy.

Additionally, OpenStack's co-founder will join hands with the world's most popular free operating system, Ubuntu Linux, which is also the favorite choice for OpenStack deployments. Accelerating the expansion of the Ubuntu Certified Public Cloud program to more Gartner Magic Quadrant (MQ) clouds and other cloud providers is also a benefit of the Rackspace/Ubuntu collaboration.
