Ubuntu-Based Peppermint OS 6 Receives Full UEFI and Secure Boot Support

Mark Greaves from the Peppermint project had the great pleasure of announcing the release and immediate availability for download of the first respin of the Ubuntu-based Peppermint OS 6 Linux distribution.

In addition to the UEFI support, the new Peppermint OS 6 Respin build incorporates support for Secure Boot and GUID Partition Table (GPT) technologies, along with an improved version of the ICE Site Specific Browser framework, bringing support for Mozilla Firefox, Chromium, and Google Chrome web browsers.
