Linux Foundation to Launch New Security-Focused Badge Program for Open-Source Software
During the LinuxCon and CloudOpen events that took place last week in Seattle, North America, Linux Foundation's Core Infrastructure Initiative announced that they are developing a new free Badge Program.

Linux Foundation posted a draft of the criteria for its new security-focuse badge program on the popular GitHub project hosting website, and it is addresses to anyone who wants to contributed to its refinement. Users will be able to submit pull requests or file issues for areas they think need improvements. You can also provide feedback for the criteria on the Core Infrastructure Initiative's cii-badges mailing list.
