On August 5, Red Hat, Inc. announced the general and official availability of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 7, a release that introduces numerous new features and performance improvements.

Prominent features of Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 7 include simplified management and deployment of day-to-day operation for cloud operators, thanks to the new automated cloud installation tool described above, compute host node high availability for easy migration of business-critical, traditional apps, greater security control, network flexibility, and incremental backup support.
