The developers of the famous GParted open-source partition editor software used by default on numerous Live CDs announced the release and immediate availability for download of GParted 0.23.0.

GParted 0.23.0 fixes FileSystem object memory leaks in init_filesystems, fixes the adjustment of arcane cylinder size when resizing and copying, addresses some problems that occurred when pasting into existing paritions, prevents a crash that occurred during resize of a logical partition, and refactors the LVM2_PV_Info module cache representation and interface.
