Krita 2.9.5 Is a Massive Update with Numerous New Features, Bug Fixes

The Krita digital painting software has been updated as part of the new Calligra release, and it is has a massive changelog.

Krita 2.9.5 brings numerous new features, including a lightness curve to the per-channel filter, an "all-files" option to the file-open dialog, a brush preset history docker, a built-in performance logger, support for WebP on Linux systems, as well as support for saving and loading patterns used in layer styles.

It also adds support for author profiles, such as default, custom, or anonymous to .kra files, introduces a global light function to layer styles, adds support for saving and loading layer styles to PSD (Photoshop Document) files, and adds a new keyboard shortcut (CTRL+Shift+N) that allows users to edit or paste content into a new image.
