Sabayon Linux Distro Finally Switches to Linux Kernel 4.0 and KDE Plasma 5

The developers behind the Gentoo-based Sabayon Linux distribution had the great pleasure of announcing that the latest monthly update ships with next-generation technologies.

Sabayon Linux 15.06 has been released, and it is now powered by the latest and greatest Linux kernel 4.0. It also updates the systemd init system to version 216, the libav library to version 11.3, GCC (GNU Compiler Collection) to version 4.9.2, and XBMC Media Center has been upgraded to the latest Kodi release.
