Linus Torvalds just released the latest release candidate of the Linux kernel; version 4.1-rc6.

This is the latest release candidate of Linux kernel 4.1.0 and contains a lot of new features and bug fixes.

Linux kernel 4.1.0 is planned to be released later this month, so probably there will another release candidate before the final release of 4.1.0.
