Final 4MLinux and 4MLinux Allinone Edition 12.0 Released with PAE Support

Zbigniew Konojacki had the pleasure of announcing the immediate availability for download of the final and stable 4MLinux 12.0 and 4MLinux Allinone Edition 12.0 distributions.

According to the short release notes, the 4MLinux/4MLinux Allinone Edition 12.0 distributions are now based on the GNU C Library 2.21 and powered by a Linux kernel package with Physical Address Extension (PAE) enabled by default.
Among other changes included in the final 4MLinux and 4MLinux Allinone Edition 12.0 Live CDs, we can mention that the pre-installed Internet browsing software has been significantly improved, meaning that Links is the default web browser in the basic version of 4MLinux. Full Story |
