Dell announced recently that a new edition of its XPS 13 Ultrabook is now available for purchase on the company's website, designed especially for developers. Called XPS 13 Developer Edition?, the Ultrabook is powered by the latest LTS (Long Term Support) edition of the world's most popular free operating system, Ubuntu 14.04.

The laptop can be highly customized on the Dell website and comes with four different configurations. All models offer a stunning Full HD (1080p) display, but you can opt in for a touch screen version too. The specifications of the new XPS 13 Ultrabook from Dell are quite overwhelming, as you get a powerful laptop with a 5th Generation Intel Core i5-5200U processor (3M Cache, up to 2.70 GHz) or i7-5500U processor (4M Cache, up to 3.00 GHz), 8GB Dual-Channel DDR3L at 1600MHz, Intel HD Graphics 5500, and a Solid State Drive.
