Clemens Toennies from the Netrunner project had the pleasure of announcing earlier today, February 16, the immediate availability for download of the Netrunner 15 computer operating system, dubbed Prometheus, based on the Kubuntu 14.10 (Utopic Unicorn) distribution and built around the KDE Plasma 5.2 desktop environment.

With a Linux 3.16 kernel on board, the brand-new Netrunner 15 distribution, which is only available for download for 64-bit systems, brings you all the latest KDE and Qt technologies, including KDE Plasma 5.2, KDE Frameworks 5.7.0, and Qt 5.4. In addition, the operating system updates its pre-installed packages to their latest versions as of February 16, 2015.
