Korora 21 (Darla) Released with Cinnamon, GNOME, KDE, and Xfce Editions
Derived from Fedora 21 and powered by the pursuit of perfection, dedication and freedom, the final version of Korora 21 computer operating system is here, available for download in four separate editions with the Cinnamon, KDE, GNOME, and Xfce graphical desktop environments, as announced by its developer Chris Smart on the project’s website.

One of the most important feature of this release is perhaps ‘Lens,’ an alternative to desktop agnostic user interfaces, which aims to bring desktop independent application that work and look the same on GTK+ and Qt-based desktop environments (more details on this subject can be found Korora Project official website).
As mentioned, Korora 21 comes in four editions, with the Cinnamon 2.4, GNOME 3.14, KDE Software Compilation 4.14.3, and Xfce 4.10.1 graphical desktop environments. Unfortunately, the MATE edition of Korora was dropped. Full Story |
