Ubuntu Phone’s Flash Sale Will Be This Week, but Not Today, Says BQ

Some news sites claimed earlier that the Ubuntu Phone Aquaris E4.5 smartphone will ship today, February 9. It turns out that the information is completely false, as BQ immediately posted on their Twitter account that the device will be available this week, but not today.

You were living under a rock until today? That's okay, as we will remind you that Canonical, in partnership with one of the major European mobile manufacturers, BQ, officially announced on February 6, 2015, the Ubuntu Phone Edition of Aquaris E4.5, a device boasting a 4.5-inch display, a MediaTek Quad-Core Cortex A7 processor running at 1.3 GHz, an 8MP rear camera, and 5MP front camera. Ubuntu Phone will cost €169.90 ($191).
