Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2 Might Get Linux Releases

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is one of the first games from Square Enix that might get a Linux release or at least this is what we can see on Steam database, which shows some signs of it in the Linux repos.

Square Enix is a publisher from Japan and until now it has only shown interest for the Mac OS X platform. The Linux platform has been ignored until now and there is no indication that the games are being ported by the usual suspects, which are Feral Interactive or Aspyr Media. In any case, there is hope to see Final Fantasy XIII-2 on Linux and it all has to do with the first game in the series. Full Story |
