The Linux fans of Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth now have something to be glad about because the developers have just announced that AMD and Intel video cards are once more supported and that game should be made available in just a few days.

Aspyr Media has been keeping the community informed about their progress with the Linux port of Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth and it looks like they managed to solve all the major problems, including the AMD (Radeon) and Intel support, which was almost ditched because of a few problematic bugs. Now, those problems are gone and most of the work has been completed. So much so that we might get to see the final version next week. Full Story |
