The Intel Graphics Installer for Linux, a tool that allows users to easily install the latest graphics and video drivers for their Intel graphics hardware, is now at version 1.0.6 and is ready for download.

The installer is a very handy tool that is unique to the Intel platform and users can only hope to get a similar piece of software from NVIDIA and AMD in the future. With the exception of Intel, the other companies seem to be stuck in the past and they are not able to provide a decent installer.
