Why CentOS 6.5 ? It has library ligfapi http://www.gluster.org/2012/11/integration-with-kvmqemu/ backported what allows native Qemu work directly with gluterfs 3.4.1 volumes.

I am very thankful to Andrew Lau for sample of anwer-file for setups a kind of "Controller + Compute Node + Compute Node .." His "Howto" mentioned above is perfect. Differences :- 1. RDO Controller and Compute nodes setup based per Andrew Lau multi-node.packstack [1] is a bit different from original No gluster volumes for cinder, nova, glance created before RDO packstack install , no network like 172.16.0.0 for gluster cluster management, just original network 192.168.1.0/24 with internet alive used in RDO setup ( answer-file pretty close to Andrew's attached) 2. Load balancing comes from RDO , no manual implementation 3. At the end of RDO install br-ex bridge and OVS port eth0 have been created Service NetworkManager disabled, sevice network enabled 4. Gluster volumes for Nova,Glance,Cinder backup have been created after RDO install. Havana tuned for cinder-volumes gluster backend after RDO installation
