The GNOME Project has announced a few days ago that immediate availability for download of the two new versions of the GNOME Software application, 3.10.4 and 3.11.2.

Let’s start with the stable GNOME 3.10.4 release, which brings a few bugfixes, such as a crash that appeared when the AppStream data was not installed, empty 'blank' update descriptions will no longer be displayed.

Moreover, only one 'Addon' header will be displayed in the installed panel, a modal dialog will be displayed when the remove and install operations fail, the ability to clear the offline update immediately after the updates have been displayed, and system applications will now be displayed at the end of the installed list.

The development version, GNOME Software 3.11.2, brings several new features like a 'Launch' button on the application details page, a dialog to edit app folders, a selection mode to the installed list, updates are now downloaded in the background, links in the ChangeLog descriptions are now clickable, and the application uses proxy settings.
