Red Hat and Black Duck Software Team Up on Software IP Risk Management

Red Hat, Inc. today announced a partnership with Black Duck Software, a leading provider of information services that enable vendors and enterprises to manage software intellectual property (IP). The companies will work together to help software developers and companies using Linux and open source software to mitigate the risks associated with software development and management of their intellectual property. This announcement is the latest milestone in Red Hat's Open Source Assurance program, a plan for protecting open source developers and Red Hat Enterprise Linux subscribers.
