Wow, there's a nasty poke in the eye to Linux and Mac gamers. id Software seems to be regressing in its support of Linux. This is quite odd given what Valve is doing with SteamOS.
I guess Valve is just going to have to convince id Software that Linux is worth supporting. For the record, my money is on Valve. They know what they are doing, and I think the folks at id will do a quick turnabout when all is said and done. Full Story |
