Default GNOME Web Browser Drops Google for DuckDuckGo
The GNOME development team announced a couple of days ago, September 2, that the first Beta release of the upcoming Epiphany (GNOME Web) 3.10 web browser is available for download and testing.

What's new in Epiphany 3.10 Beta? Well, the developers replaced Google with DuckDuckGo for search results, added a search provider for the GNOME Shell, revamped the toolbar's style using GtkHeaderBar, as well as the search bar's style using GtkSearchBar.
Moreover, Epiphany 3.10 Beta displays favicons in the overview thumbnails, displays a pop-up with available usernames in login forms, warns users upon closing when there are opened web pages with modified forms, and no longer uses deprecated GTK+ APIs. Full Story |
