Subversion 1.8 Gits New Features

The Apache Subversion (SVN) open source version control system is out with its 1.8 release today. The new release follows the prior SVN 1.7 releaseby some 20 months and introduces a host of new features for developers. The SVN 1.8 release also helps to further Subversion project answer the question of why to use SVN instead of Git.
