Pear Linux 6.1 Is Based on Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS

David Tavares had the pleasure of announcing a few days ago that the first maintenance release of the stable Pear Linux 6 operating system is now available for download.

Being based on the Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS (Precise Pangolin) operating system, Pear Linux 6.1 is the first point release from the sixth branch of Pear Linux, bringing two new applications, updated software and an updated Linux kernel package.
