Anne Nicolas has announced earlier today, September 7th, that the first Alpha version of the upcoming Mageia 3 Linux operating system is now available for download and testing.

Being powered by Linux kernel 3.5.3, Mageia 3 Alpha 1 comes packed with the latest KDE 4.9 and GNOME 3.6 Beta 1 desktop environment.
Moreover, the distro includes apps like Amarok 2.6.0, digiKam 2.9.0, Telepathy-KDE 0.5.0, Tomahawk player 0.5.5, Calligra 2.5.1 and, of course, the latest Qt 4.8.2 and Qt 5 Beta 1 libs. Full Story |
