Thunderbird 11.0 was officially released on March 13th and it brings a new user interface with Tabs above the main menu bar in order to make it more contextual and facilitate the navigation.
This upgrade of the popular email client and news reader also contains various security fixes, among which we can mention that Thunderbird notifications are now working with Growl 1.3 or later and importing Microsoft Outlook profiles no longer crashes.
All Ubuntu 11.10 users can update their Thunderbird email client to version 11.0 right now, by using the Update Manager software. Full Story |
