Pear OS Linux Debian Edition is an operating system based on the Debian GNU/Linux 6.0 (Squeeze) distribution, and it's powered by Linux kernel 2.6.32. It features the GNOME 2.30 desktop environment, customized to look as a Mac OS desktop.
Just like Pear OS 3.0, this edition also includes The Pear Appstore to help you easily find and install applications on your system, allowing app browsing by category and quick search, and offering user reviews, screenshots and developer descriptions. Full Story |
