KDE SC 4.8 Beta 1 Is Available for Testing

The KDE team proudly announced a few minutes ago, November 24th, the first Beta release of the upcoming and renewed KDE Software Compilation 4.8 environment.

KDE Software Compilation 4.8 will contain features such as Qt Quick in Plasma Workspaces, an updated device notifier widget written in QML, a QML-based KWin window switcher, improved file view of Dolphin including a more attractive visual appearance, as well as lots of general performance improvements and assorted bugfixes.
