A new development version of GIMP has been released version 2.7.3. GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program.

It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring.

According to the developers this version is packed with important new features & improvements that brings us closer to GIMP 2.8.
