Dread Moon Linux Released for Game and Mulimedia Developers
Development of game and/or multimedia applications often involves the installation of numerous independently-developed libraries for which there are no installable packages. Synchronizing the versions of these libraries can be a formidable, frustrating and time-consuming process. The Dread Moon remix of Ubuntu 9.04 has been developed to solve this problem by providing pre-installed compatible versions of these libraries in what is intended to be a (to borrow a buzzword from the 80's) turn-key game and multimedia development platform. In addition to providing a programmer's platform, Dread Moon also bundles a number of best-in-class software tools to facilitate programming and the development of audio and video content.
