Red Hat boasts first OpenI18N-compliant Linux, supports complex languages

Red Hat recently announced that Red Hat Enterprise Linux v.3 is certified by the Free Standards Group to conform with the Linux Standard Base (LSB) Internationalized Runtime Environment. The company says they are the first vendor to commit publicly to the OpenI18N endorsed input method framework called IIIMF, allowing the input of complex text languages, such as Chinese, Japanese and Hindi. Users will be able to switch between these languages.
