LXer headlines change: No more security alerts in the newswire

Starting this afternoon, security alerts will no longer appear on the homepage of the website, but they will still be archived, available via email alerts, as well as in a box on the right-hand menubar.

No more duplication of effort! Starting today, I am now mirroring security alert headlines from our friends at LWN.net. The alert headlines go into my database, where they will be accessible everywhere except the homepage. If you have email alerts, you will still be notified by email each time an alert is added.
Furthermore, you can always see the ten most recent security alerts by scrolling down a bit and look on the right hand side. Each headline there is a link to the full text of the alert on LWN's server.
