As we discussed earlier in our RSS reader options for Linux article, this platform also has its fair share of solutions for those of us who are looking to subscribe to podcasts as well.

One of my all time favorites, Miro (formally known as Democracy Player) has weathered tremendous obstacles to see the application reach its goal to Miro 1.0. The latest release provides a workable first-run option immediately after the application is installed. It provides features ranging from a search for existing video to advice on how to get the most from the application itself.
