SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Mar 23, 2004 -- Combined with Versora's migration solutions, the new partnership provides customers SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server and the enterprise mail and collaboration application SUSE LINUX Openexchange from one vendor.
Now that Versora has become a SUSE Business and Technology Partner, companies who are considering implementing Linux and open source solutions have a vendor that provides automated processes and best practices for transitioning from Windows to Linux.
"We are very pleased to have Versora as a partner that fills a much needed role for customers who want to move from Windows to Linux," said Frank Basinski, Director Partner Program & Marketing, SUSE LINUX. "Companies who have an investment in Microsoft Windows and are considering migrating to Linux can take advantage of Versora's services."
Although a new comer to the Linux market, Versora brings a wealth of expertise in supporting a mixed Windows to LINUX environment. "We anticipate a mutually successful relationship between Versora and SUSE LINUX," said Mike Sheffey, Versora CEO. Sheffey adds, "After several years focusing on Microsoft Windows desktop migration, including a successful partnership with Novell, the founders of Versora are using their Microsoft Windows systems management expertise to propel the adoption of Linux."
