Linux Java Desktop System R2 Gets MySQL 4.17

The JDS Community Web Site has provided MySQL 4.17 RPMS to the repository

The Java Desktop Community Web site wishes to announce the available of the MySQL 4.17 suite to its repository. The MySQL RPMS are available for immediate download along with the Apache 2-2.0.49-27.16 packages.



RPMS for JDS require a special build because of the development libraries included with Sun's Linux Desktop. In addition to the release of MySQL, http://JDShelp.org has approximately 100 downloadable packages not included with those in JDS Release 2 media.
