Dan Paoletti to speak at Ohio LinuxFest
Dan Paoletti, Interim CEO at Ohio Health Information Partnership, and
Vice President, Data Services, The Ohio Hospital Association, will be
speaking at Ohio LinuxFest on September 9 at 3pm at the Gr4eater
Columbus Convention Center. His talk will be titled "The Vision: By
2015 the Spotlight is on Ohio for the Meaningful Use of Health
Information Technology."

Dan Paoletti, Interim CEO at Ohio Health Information Partnership, and
Vice President, Data Services, The Ohio Hospital Association, will be
speaking at Ohio LinuxFest on September 9 at 3pm at the Gr4eater
Columbus Convention Center. His talk will be titled "The Vision: By
2015 the Spotlight is on Ohio for the Meaningful Use of Health
Information Technology."
Medical Providers, clinics and hospitals are joining the electronic
revolution across Ohio, implementing EMRs, as well as planning for
state wide interoperability (sharing health information using national
“direct” standards.) Services are being offered to clinicians in Ohio
to securely move clinical data around the state and outside of the
state. The future is discussed in “The Vision: By 2015 the Spotlight
is on Ohio for the Meaningful Use of Health Information Technology”.
Mr .Paoletti will outline the plans for Ohio to be a national leader
in this area, and offer information on the funding available to
support this effort.
The Ohio LinuxFest Corporation is an 501c(3) non-profit corporation
registered in the state of Ohio to promote the education of Linux and
Free and Open Source software. The corporation was founded by people
from various Linux User Groups in the Midwest to promote and manage
the Ohio LinuxFest. The corporation is non-profit and is an
all-volunteer organization.
